Mother's Day Wishes

Mother's Day is celebrated in the United States on the second Sunday in May and generally focuses on recognizing mothers and their roles in our daily lives.

My sweet mother, Matelyn Roddy Carr, passed away twenty-one years ago. I miss her more with each passing day and offer this poem for her.

I'd like to take this time to wish a wonderful day to mothers everywhere, especially the ones I know. I love you all so very much.

Carra

  2. My mom passed away January of 2007 and I still miss her every day. Never realized what a Mama's girl I was until I lost her. Thanks for the Mother's Day wishes, Carra. Right back at you.

    1. My day was lovely. My daughter came over to visit. She made guacamole and brought a homemade chocolate coconut pie that is to die for.

I lost my mom in 1992 and it never gets any easier. There are days, though, I feel her beside me or behind me pushing, lol. It's a comfort. ;)
